We invite you to the presentation of the book “¿Qué es la teoría? Enfoques, usos y debates en torno al pensamiento teórico”, written by Jose Juncosa and Fernando Garces. 

The book questions the theory that integrates academic common sense and is almost always practiced in the university without paying attention to its condition of abstract reality subject to continuous discussions and transformations. In order to answer this problem, the authors face two questions: what is a theory? What does theorizing consist of? In the search for answers, they go through the most significant contributions from philosophy, science and epistemology as well as from cultural studies and the dialogue of knowledge.
