Plastigama Company made an important economic donation to students from our branch campus in Guayaquil, students whose parents died during the Covid 19 pandemic, so they can finish their university studies.

The donation was made by Gustavo Caicedo Alvear, HR Manager, who was welcomed by Raul Alvarez, vice president of the university's campus in Guayaquil; Emay Jaramillo, director of the student services department; Mario Pilco, financial director, and Veronica Obando.

"Our goal is to help students whose parents died during the pandemic, our donation today will guarantee that these students finish the university and become professionals", stated Gustavo Caicedo

Christina Valiente Salguero, business administration student, received the donation and was very thankful for it. "I want to thank this institution, where my father worked for over 30 years. The company always supported him and now that he died because of the pandemic, I have received this donation for my university studies", he said.

Mike Soriano, telematics student, and his brother Nick also received an economic donation. "We cannot let this opportunity slip away, I am very thankful with Plastigama and UPS. My father's death during the pandemic caused an economic crisis at home that we have not been able to recover from and receiving this donation means a lot", he said.
