Universidad Politecnica Salesiana (UPS) has signed an interinstitutional agreement with Universidad Complutense de Madrid (UCM) which will allow professors from our university to take the course titled "Digital competencies for professors and researchers".

UPS president Juan Cardenas stated that "the university is very interested in taking advantage of Universidad Complutense's experience and its faculty of education. The world has changed dramatically and it is necessary to have digital competencies to meet current needs."

Gonzalo Jover, dean of the faculty of education at UCM, said the agreement represents a great opportunity to work together with UPS and help improve young people's education. Gonzalo Jover has visited UPS before and knows about its work.

Pablo Fafan, director of the university's distance and virtual education department, explained that 163 professors will be taking this 180 hour course.
