People´s profesional image has not been a widely discussed topic in our context. However, it is very important, especially when looking for a job or creating a venture. Therefore, the psychology undergraduate program in our branch campus in Cuenca presented the webinar: "Professional image of a psychologist".

The webinar was led by Paulina Andrade, who spoke about social competencies that complement cognitive competencies. She presented key aspects that help create an appropriate professional image.

One of the aspects she talked about was making good first impressions when meeting someone and explained that 55% is represented by image, 38% by tone of voice and 7% to what is being said.

Other topics were: non verbal communication, effective communication, types of faces and styles.
