From the 4th to the 18th of December, our branch campus in Quito held several graduation ceremonies for 593 students who successfully ended their undergraduate programs; it is worth mentioning that two of the graduates, Tannia Malisa and Joselin Morocho, have visual impairment.

The ceremonies were presided by Fransisco Sanchez, chancellor of UPS; Maria Sol Villagomez, vice president of our campus in Quito; Floralba Aguilar, academic coordinator; Silvia Gomez, director of student services; and directors of the undergraduate programs.

Fransisco Sanchez said: "at the end of 2020, the year of the pandemic, but also a year filled with solidarity, as a family the university has kept its faith in God in order to face these difficult times. Don't forget the salesian charisma and its mission to make this a better and more human world, which we must all take care of".

Maria Sol Villagomez said: "we could not invite your family members because of the pandemic, but let's be thankful for all their support, let's thank life and the joy of being able to meet again. Let's celebrate your effort and hard work".

The ceremonies were set up as follows: December 3rd and 4th was for intercultural bilingual education, business administration, anthropology and management and leadership. December 11th and 12th for electrical engineering, civil engineering, electronics engineering, environmental engineering, mechanical engineering and computer engineering.
