Students presented ways to improve quality education

Students majoring in basic and early education presented the research they carried out as part of their final graduation project; the aim was that students have an opportunity to discuss their work as well as have debates.

Some of the projects they presented were:

- "Teaching styles and its relation with cultural diversity", by Maria Jose Carranza, who stated that "it is important that teaching styles have cultural diversity because they allow activities to be more active, open and dynamic".

- "Pedagogical communication as a strategy for children's integral development", by Eliana Cofre. This research seeks to improve communication competencies.

- "Gender stereotypes in the illustrations of the 5th year Social Studies text book of the Ministry of Education". By Alisson Bucay. This research demonstrated that "most illustrations give men more relevance than women, and this should change".

Ana Maria Narvaez, director of both education undergraduate programs, stated that "students wish to make changes by presenting innovative proposals that strengthen quality education by respecting cultural diversity and meeting the demands of different contexts".
