On September 9th, the university's branch in Guayaquil held an event titled "2016 Business Tour" whose aim was to create contact between the university and the private and public business sector.

Around 27 businesses attended and took a tour of the university, "we want institutions to see our infrastructure and see how our students, future professionals, are having technical and academic preparation", said Wendy Luna, director of community involvement.

Representatives from several companies highlighted the leadership, commitment and responsibility of the graduates from UPS that have worked in their companies. "I think this project is very interesting, I love seeing how they have grown and the opportunity they give students to be close to the job market", said Melissa Miranda, Unilever representative.
