The communication undergraduate program invites you to join a virtual forum on Political Communication in times of crisis, where speakers will analyze the government’s communication strategy.
The aim of the forum is to create opportunities to analyze and reflect on current issues. There will be external speakers and communication graduates from our university will be in charge of leading the talks.
Speakers:
Xavier Montero: Dircom and a journalist who specializes in finance, he is currently the marketing and communication director of Biess. He was the communication director of Ministerio de Transporte and Corporación Financiera Nacional, he worked at Ecuavisa, Diario El Comercio and Revista LIDERES in Guayaquil. The topic of his talk will be: The government’s communication policy.
Nathalie Castillo Rojas: bachelor’s degree in communication with a specialty in social rights, public policies and global management, communication policies. She is currently the president of the journalists’ association in Chile. She will talk about: Political communication in times of crisis.
Graduates of our communication undergraduate program: Rocío Cárdenas, César Tacuri and Carlos Almeida will analyze the following topics:
The government’s communication strategy in the context of an apparent internal conflict and instability.
The government’s communication strategy during the protests in October.
The government’s communication strategy during the health emergency.
