A graduation ceremony was held for 138 students who successfully ended their master’s degree programs in business administration, digital communication, accounting and auditing, special education, electricity, electronics and automation, cultural management and psychology. 


The ceremony was also for 213 undergraduate students of business administration, accounting, psychology, management and leadership, communication, applied anthropology, biotechnology, and bilingual intercultural education. 


Floralba Aguilar, acting vice president, said “here we are with the people who will build the future, and find solutions to problems in society; they now have the tools they need. They will face obstacles on the way, but will be able to overcome them. 
On behalf of the graduates, Kelly Samantha Flores Quelal who majored in psychology said they are happy and nostalgic; very happy for graduating but sad because they’ll leave their second home. Emily Tejada Zambrano is proud of having graduated from UPS, which is a great university with social responsibility.


Alejandro Romero, graduate of the master’s degree in communication, stated that “we should all do something to change inequality and corruption in order to reach goals in education”.


Ana Cristina Taday, from the Ecuadorian dance group, and Andrea Donoso, from the sports groups, were awarded certificates to recognize their participation in the salesian groups and for having acquired competencies such as social responsibility, leadership and communication.
