Members of the Management, Information and Technology Research Group (LabGIT for its acronym in Spanish) presented four papers at the 19th Iberian Congress on Information Technologies and Systems (CISTI for its acronym in Spanish), which was organized by Universidad de Salamanca, Spain. 

The papers indexed in Scopus: “Explorando Design Thinking como estrategia para el Análisis de Procesos de Negocio en Instituciones de Educación Superior”; “Un Flujo de Trabajo para la Aprobación Formal de la Documentación de Procesos de Negocio en Instituciones de Educación Superior”; “Explorando Desafíos de Interacción entre la Gestión por Procesos de Negocio y la Gestión de Tecnologías de la Información”; and “Indicadores Clave de Rendimiento con enfoque en la Educación Superior: Una revisión sistemática orientada a la definición y medición” were presented by Myriam Yunga, Verónica Velásquez, Andrea Flores and Christian Oyola, respectively.

 
Jessica Zúñiga, Head of Data Science and Processes; Diana Arce, Coordinator of the Research Group; Adriana García and Leonardo Pacheco, members of the Research Group, participated in the event, along with researchers from Portugal, Spain, Brazil , Honduras, Chile, Colombia and Ecuador. They took part in conferences on topics related to: Organizational models and Information Systems; Knowledge management, decision support systems, and others.

Their participation in this meeting allowed us to generate a network of contacts for future collaborations with external researchers in the area of Processes. It also promoted greater cooperation between administrative staff and research professors, enriching the operational capacity of our university. This not only strengthens research networks, but also promotes the exchange of knowledge and experiences, fostering a more dynamic academic environment, great for innovation.
