The university's branch campus in Cuenca presented the book titled "Radiaciones Ionizantes y su Impacto" created by environmental engineering students and professors in order to present the research conducted by the participants of the First International Symposium on the Environment where they talked about solar radiations as the most influential natural factor on earth.

UPS president Javier Herran said "everything that is being researched must get to students, professors and people in general. A special recognition to the work carried out by students and professors".

UPS professor Tony Viloria presented the book and said it is available for the university community in its libraries.
