DESCRIPTION

Tumipampa, means "A place like the sky", which represents the ideology, thought, vision and mission, and tries to demonstrate the multiculturalism of Ecuador, which has been transmitted from generation to generation and is part of our culture. Based on an ideal that Ecuador is governed by five important aspects of our artistic activity such as: RITUAL, AFRO-DESCENDENT, MESTIZA OR CRIOLLA, THE AMAZONIAN AND THE INDIGENOUS. Transcendental pillars for understanding our dance and music.

Keeping traditional dance and music alive is the main motivation for this group; which is made up of young people and adults from the institution, who through dance and music seek to teach and transmit to new generations how important it is to understand that through artistic manifestation we can raise awareness about our identity and the wealth of the folklore in our country.
