The electronic engineering major at UPS-Guayaquil invites you to take part in the talk “The Evolution of Cell Phone Technology”. The aim of the talk is to show the evolution of cell phone technology from its beginnings all the way to LTE.

Nowadays, cell phone technology plays an important role in society. It allows constants interaction and communication between people, companies and everyone involved in the modern world. Constant changes in people’s needs, have forced a fast but organized evolution of cell phones in just a few decades.

AIMS:

-    Briefly explain the history of mobile communications
-    Analyze the success and failure of some technologies
-    Describe the innovations and technological incorporations that have been implemented to achieve goals 
-    Learn about the advantages and characteristics of 4G technology and new proposals of evolution.
