The Game Lab Research Group (GIGL – UPS) has established the first games laboratory in Ecuador, which will analyze and produce games. The main lines of research are ethics in videogames, recreational digital experiences, typology of players, literacy through videogames, virtual reality, augmented reality and gamification.
The group has interdisciplinary and collaborative members, researchers and students who work together with members of other international institutions. Research carried out in this specialized environment is translated into reports, scientific articles, conferences, workshops and seminars related to games
