ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE AND ASSISTIVE TECHNOLOGIES RESEARCH GROUP - GIIATA

The Artificial Intelligence and Assistive Technologies Research Group (GIIATA for its acronym in Spanish) emerged from the need to come up with solutions and provide assistance to people with disabilities, who in our country alone represent 12.8% of the population. The university has constantly supported research processes that can create real opportunities for social inclusion. Therefore, the group has been able to support special education institutions around the country in order to improve inclusion processes and support children with disabilities during their learning process.
