Occupational Outlook
An industrial engineer can work in public and private institutions in activities related to the operation, planning, direction, control and improvement of production systems in order to contribute to the production of quality goods and services with added value which will allow customer satisfaction at the lowest costs. They have the ability to handle machines, tools, metrology equipment, physical, human and economic resources. They can carry out feasibility studies, evaluate investment projects, plan the scope, time and resources, lead projects, assess risks, prepare contingency plans, locate sources of short and long-term financing.
