2. Requirements to register (new students):

  • Legible Color copy of ID, identification card or passport for foreigners
  • Notarized copy of high school diploma or a certificate stating the student is in his/her senior year
  • Foreign students: notarized copy of a certificate from the Ministry of Education validating the high school diploma along with a copy of the high school diploma
  • Color copy of voting certificate "certificado de votación"  for students over 18
  • Passport size photo
  • Registration can be done online: https://appwfp.ups.edu.ec/ins-pub/

All these documents must be sent to: admisionescue@ups.edu.ec  Remember to include your full name and ID number as the subject of the email

The registration has NO COST. Once your registration has been accepted you may pay the tuition fee in advance (this is optional).   

  • Tuition fee: 200 USD

Forms of payment:

  • BANKS:

You may pay 24 hours after the registration process at the following banks: Banco del Austro, Pacífico, Cooperativa Jep or servicio Cash del Pichincha. You only need your ID number and to mention you are a student of Universidad Politécnica Salesiana.

  • ONLINE PAYMENTS (CREDIT CARDS):

You can pay with a credit card by logging into your personal university account and clicking on the online services option and then online payments. You can pay with the following credit cards: Diners Club, Banco Pichincha, Banco del Pacífico and Banco de Guayaquil.


  • PAY AT THE UNIVERSITY: 

You may pay directly at the university after completing the registration process. 

Attention hours: From Monday to Friday from 8:00am to 1:00pm And 3:00pm to 1:00pm at El Giron and Sur campuses

Once the payment has been done, your university email will be activated and you will be able to fill in the socioeconomic form


  • Starts on December 7th, 2020.

  • Register you subjects (last phase of the enrollment process) in the month of March, 2021.

  • Fill in the FICHA SOCIOECONÓMICA by logging into your personal account in the university website.

  • THis is a compulsory step in the enrollment process. Once the form is filled in, you must download it, print it, place a passport size photo on it and sign it along with your legal representatives. Finally, upload it where it says: "SUBIR FICHA SOCIOECONOMICA"

  • If you need any help filling in the form, write to: bienestarestudiantilcue@ups.edu.ec, or fill it in as a draft ("Borrador de ficha socioeconómica") and then go to the student services department to ask for help.

  • Watch the TUTORIAL on how to fill in the form. 


To finish the process, you must register the subjects you will be taking. You must regularly check your email for information on the date to register your subjects, the process will be done at EL Giron and Sur campuses.
