The mechatronics undergraduate program educates students to become professionals capable of contributing to the country’s production model by employing mechatronic systems for the automation of industrial processes that can favor production and quality in different sectors. It also encourages respect for the environment and integrates technology to solve problems in different fields.

Occupational Outlook
A mechatronics engineer can work in different industries, both public and private, providing solutions to productive processes applied to mechatronic manufacturing, systems and products. They can be directors of project departments, director of the instrumentation department, Operations Manager, Director of Innovation and development departments, Heads or maintenance supervisors, and others. They can be independent consultants in small and medium-sized companies or industries that do not have technological innovation departments in their structure and that require constant external advice that provide specific solutions to specific needs of automation and control of processes and equipment.
