Our branch campus in Guayaquil has begun a new semester which will combine face to face and online teaching (Hybrid learning). Before starting this new semester, professors were trained on the use of new equipment that will be used in the classroom.

Students were also instructed on the biosecurity measures they must comply with when they go to the university; there was also a welcome ceremony for students.

“We’ve had online classes during the last 3 semesters and it is now time to welcome our students back to the university classrooms and at the same time allow students who for some reason cannot attend the university to have online classes”, said Juan Cardenas, UPS president.

Students looked really happy to be back in the university; “we are very excited to be back and have face to face classes again. We hope everyone complies with the biosecurity measures”, said Domenica Urbina, student representative.

“Students are very excited to come back to the university and use the laboratories, they look really happy”, said Gary Ampuño, director of the electrical engineering undergraduate program.
“This is the start of a new phase for salesian education, which invites us to continue educating great professionals for our country”, stated Raul Alvarez, vice president of our branch campus in Guayaquil.
