Electrical, electronic and mechanical engineering students from UPS-Cuenca participated in the "2015 IEEE NW Russia Young Researchers in Electrical and Electronic Engineering Conference" held in St. Petersburg Electro technical University in Russia.

UPS-Cuenca professors presented the following papers: "Implementation Results of Biosignals Acquisition Lessons for Biomedical Engineering Lab" by René Ávila. "Electromagnetic Fields Simulation on Distribution Feeders" by John Morales, and "Audio Noise Canceler Using Adaline Network in Adaptive Filter Configuration" by Julio C. Montesdeoca.

While UPS-Cuenca students presented: "Study and Design of Biped Robot of Ten DOF for Stability Analysis in Walking Process" by  Christian M. Córdova, and  "Study of Natural Fibers as Filler in a Polymeric Matrix to Make Environment Friendly Materials" by Josué V. Montesdeoca.

Professors, students and researchers from 22 universities and 4 industrial companies from Russia, Germany, Ecuador and Chile attended this event. The papers presented by UPS will be included in the IEEE Xplorer e-library and SCOPUS.
