Universidad Politécnica Salesiana and the Ministry of Education signed an inter-institutional cooperation agreement so that UPS can support high schools in industrial and agricultural areas, help these institutions design their curriculum according to their area, and determine workshop and laboratory prototypes.

UPS President Father Javier Herran said the agreement will allow these institutions to work together and improve education. María Eugenia Verdugo attended the event on behalf of the Minister of Education Augusto Espinoza Andrade; Omar Alvarez Cisneros, Principal of Técnico High school, was also there. 

Maria Eugenia Verdugo, Ministry of Education representative, said she was pleased with the agreement since it will support the work the ministry is doing in order to improve education.
