The Congress on automotive mechanical engineering was a great success; over 750 people from several universities in the country as well as representatives from the automotive industry attended.

-    Electric mobility and energy transition, problems and opportunities. Given by Klaus Kuhnke from Germany. 

-    Technological innovation in the production matrix change- the electric cars project in Ecuador. Given by Gustavo Camelos

-    Trends and research on alternative internal combustion engines. By Miguel Lopez

-    The importance of research, construction, accreditation and certification in the Ecuadorian automotive industry. By Telmo Moreno and Pablo Sinchiguano

-    Applications of artificial intelligence Franklin Rivas' área, Universidad de los Andes, Venezuela. 

UPS-Cuenca Vice President Cesar Vasquez was pleased with the success of the Congress and thanked all the attendees for having come. Cristian García, member of the organizing committee also thanked everyone for having attended the congress and announced that the second congress will be held in Quito at Universidad Internacional del Ecuador.
