The UPS-Guayaquil Robotics Club took part in the "Latitud Zero Robot Games 2015"

The UPS-Guayaquil Robotics Club took part in the "Latitud Zero Robot Games 2015" and won second place in the Soccer category with their robot Optimus UPSG and third place in the Maze category with the "OjoBot" robot.
Around 10 Ecuadorian universities attended this international competition which was held om Quito from the 20th to the 23rd of May in the Centro de Arte Contemporaneo. The aim of the competition was to show people the skills students have acquired in building robots. Competitors from Colombia, Peru and Mexico also attended the competition.
UPS-Guayaquil, Quito and Cuenca participated in this year's competition and showed people that UPS is among the top universities in technological competitions which are held in Quito every year.
The UPS-Guayaquil Robotics Club was given a place to participate in the 3rd International Robotics Competition-URP in Peru on November 20th and 21st this year.
