UPS.-Cuenca students majoring in electrical engineering took part in the Congress on High Voltage and Electrical Insulation (ALTAE 2015) which was organized and held at Universidad Técnica de Manabí.

The Congress is an international event where IEEE members get together to participate in several academic and social activities. UPS students were able to share some of their research as well as strengthen their knowledge in writing papers and other topics in their field.

The aim of the event was to strengthen student organizations within the field of electrical engineering as well as how to organize congresses, write papers and logistics. The event gave UPS students new ideas which will help them improve their work within the university.
