The paper titled "Pedro Lemebel revelación y rebelión en sus crónicas desde el margen", was published by Revista Palabra Clave from Universidad La Sabana, Colombia. A journal containing research from the field of communication and its relationship with society, the journal is also indexed to SCOPUS.

Scopus is a data base with scientific production with over 19,500 publications such as abstracts and papers on different fields. It has relevant sources for research on technological innovation with resources such as patents, open access journals, congresses, seminars and conferences. 

The article is on research about the chronicles of Pedro Lemebel, a Chilean writer, journalist and activist; these chronicles were published in his book "Loco afán. Crónicas de sidario" which is about the dark side of society through the ethnography of daily life of homosexuals in Chile who question politics in an unequal, racist, homophobic society in the time of Pinochet and later in the time of democracy.

This research is relevant for the social communication major in academics and research and it allows us to understand the evolution of chronicles in Ecuador and Latin America in the XIX and XX century.

Checa Montúfar, is guest professor for the social communication major, he concluded a masters degree in Universidad Andina Simón Bolívar de Quito and is currently a PhD students at the University of Michigan, USA.
