Because there are constant updates of knowledge in the field of education, UPS professors Cesar Andrade and Ronal Alvarez gave an important talk during the seminar titled "Strategies to Internationalize Curriculums" which was held on the 25th and 26th of May in the Philosophy Faculty in Universidad Católica de Santiago de Guayaquil.

The seminar was given by Norma Juarez, PhD, academic coordinator of Internationalization of higher education studies in Colegio de las Americas,  Maximiliano Sainz from Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM). "The internationalization of curriculums allow students to improve their education through these study plans", said Sainz.

Some of the topics in the seminar were: Internationalization of higher education, Internationalization strategies, internationalization planning and management.

According to Professor Andrade, these seminars are important because they help improve the international profile of the university and strengthen research and knowledge.
