The community involvement department in the university's branch in Guayaquil and the Entrepreneurs Group called "Los Lideres" held a conference titled "Leadership in times of crisis" which was led by Alexis Lozano and Bianca Benavides.

The aim of this conference was to show students from all majors how to manage difficult situations at work. For Wendy Luna, director of the community involvement department, it is important for UPS professionals to have the right tools that will help them face a crisis and identify opportunities.

The idea was to provide students with useful information in order to find effective solutions to problems. "These leadership talks are fundamental for improving people's skills" said Wendy Luna.

For Leonardo Constantino, UPS alumni, the conference helped people become leaders who find solutions to problems by creating new opportunities.

"It is worth noting that entrepreneurship goes hand in hand with innovation and that's why in the university there are now CoWorking spaces", added Luna.
