2nd Meeting on Salesian Reflection

The university's "Reason and Faith" department in Cuenca held the 2nd Meeting for Salesian Reflection which took place in the Aurelio Pischedda and Luis Arba auditoriums, where students from all majors attended. 

The meeting started with a welcome speech given by the National Director of the university's "Reason and Faith" department, Xavier Merchan, who invited everyone to participate in the meeting and present the university's vision which is to "educate good Christians and honest citizens"

The speeches were given by renowned speakers such as Marcelo Vasconez and Father Juan Cardenas who talked about "Work, human dignity, environment, family and society".
Xavier Coronel and María Anais Leguisamo spoke about ""Living the experience of fraternal life like in Valdocco". Father Fernando Vega talked about "Public Ethics" and professor Kleber Zuna talked about "Being a person in times of uncertainty" 

Members of the "Reason and Faith" department said they are open to proposals from others fields such as education, religion, politics, vocation which provide new access to knowledge on academics and its relation to society.

In this regard, the lines of reflection that were raised are in full harmony with the four pedagogies of the University's Pastoral that seeks to promote: the community environment, cultural mediation, commitment and involvement with reality itself cultural, social and ecclesial, and finally, personal and group accompaniment.

 In addition, this Salesian Reflection 2016 are part of the activities in the last academic periods as proposals for training and reflection workshops Human Development, Café Converso and forums, all directed to the student body of our university.
