The Utopia Group from the university's branch campus in Quito organized an event titled "Universos infantiles" aimed at boys and girls from the city. It's about showing children from several schools movies in the "El Giron" and "Sur" campus.

On June 20th, children from Unidad Educativa Municipal Quitumbe visited the university to watch and talk about the movie "Kubo and the two strings". The talk was led by Cecilia Vinueza, educational psychologist and Sylvia Morales.

On the second day, children from Escuela Deportiva Gol A.S.O  attended the university to watch the movie "The song of the sea" and on the third day children from Fundación Laura Vicuña de las Madres Salesianas were in the university to watch "The Boxtrolls"

The talks were led by Carmita Coronado, professor in the school of communication, and Jose Pulamarin from the university's pastoral department. They spoke about building self-esteem and identity within families. 

The event came to an end with a visit from children from Unidad Educativa San Patricio, who watched the movie "Spirited Away".
