The inauguration of the 1st Inter-institutional Robotics Network was held last Wednesday, November 19^th at the Gobierno del Litoral building in Guayaquil.

The aim of the network is to create a connection between academia, private companies, the government, robotic clubs, and society so that together they can improve the robotics industry through innovative projects that will contribute to the country's production development as well as create new research lines.

Maria José de Luca, SENESCYT coordinator, said the Inter-institutional Network is a great opportunity to have relevant academic studies and research for the productive sector.

Several universities that promote science and technology were invited to this event; Víctor Huilcapi, electronic engineering director, and Ricardo Cajo, the robotics club president, attended on behalf of UPS-Guayaquil.
