Program Overview
The biomedicine undergraduate program educates students to become professionals who can develop and apply knowledge in engineering, biology and medicine to improve people’s health. They act ethically and with social responsibility, they are capable of leading, innovating, managing and creating technological solutions that help enhance medical attention and provide technical support for equipment used in biomedical services.

A graduate of biomedicine helps society develop, improve, innovate and conduct research in the fields of medical-clinical instrumentation, rehabilitation engineering, digital processing of biological systems signals and diagnostic images, and in biomedical technology management for the improvement of health services.
