On July 2, in Parque Metropolitano de la Armenia, the university's pastoral department in Quito organized the "ASU PARK" event aimed at students who make up the salesian groups in the University (ASU).
The event brought together 220 young people from several areas such as social political, cultural, sports, Communication and Academics who are part of ASU. There were several training and integration activities to promote leadership, teamwork and friendship.
The meeting began with welcoming remarks by the university's vice president in Quito, José Juncosa. Then, attendees learned integration techniques and participated in activities that ended with a moment of reflection, prayer and evaluation of experiences.
Also, students were invited to be part of the pastoral department's activities in August, like the missions, the summer camp, in addition to professional volunteers and missionaries.
The Pastoral staff congratulated the students and invited them to work to strengthen the Salesian identity and see ASU as an opportunity to achieve academic and human education.
