350 new students attended summer leveling courses
On August 28th, the university's branch campus in Cuenca inaugurated the 2018 Summer Tutoring program aimed at new students.
The aim is to provide new students a leveling course before starting regular classes as well as give them a briefing on some administrative processes to end the registration process.
The program is coordinated by the Educational Innovation Research Group, the pastoral department and professor Vinicio Ordoñez.
There were about 350 students who attended the leveling courses which covered mathematics, chemistry, physics, accounting and other technical subjects during three weeks. UPS president Javier Herran welcomed the new students to their new home. He explained what it means to be part of UPS and wished them the best in this new stage of their lives
