The university's electrical club (Grupo ASU Eléctrica) in Guayaquil held a conference titled "Delta Automation" for students majoring in electrical, electronic and industrial engineering. The aim of the conference was update students' knowledge in technology.

The conference was led by Oscar Carrasco from Automatización & Control de Maquinarias Henriques C.A. He talked about "The growth of industrial production", "Cost reduction" and "Time in the industry".
