The student services department at UPS-Guayaquil announces that applications for the scholarship and student loan programs for the May – September 2015 semester will be open from February 2^nd to February 27^th, 2015.

To register for the first time or extend a scholarship:

• Present the documents required for each scholarship program (see below)

 How can i sign up for the scholarship programs?

 Once you have filled in the requirements shown in the regulations, you must:

1. Buy a form (“asuntos varios”) at the university treasury department
2. Fill in the form according to the format of each scholarship (see below)
3. Present the form at the student services department

 Requirements needed for the CERS program:

• Be a regular student at Universidad Politécnica Salesiana
• Have a minimum grade point average of 75/100 in the last semester (May – September 2015)
•  Having taken at least 60% of the credits in the curriculum during the previous semester.
• Having passed all your subjects the previous semester.

How to register for the CERS program:

1. Download the Educational Loan form (Attached)
2. Fill in the form (manually or on a computer) and include the following documents:

• The latest pay roll, a notarized statement of income, or a copy of the taxpayer registration number of those who contribute to the family economy.
• Copy of student’s and parent’s I.D
• Copy of utility bills
• Receipt of property tax payment, a lease contract, or any document that proves the payment of rent in case you don’t own the house.
• In case you have a car, a copy of the registration
• Any other document the student considers necessary to reinforce his/her application. For example: health records

If necessary the university deems necessary it will ask for further documentation.

 3. Buy a form (“asuntos varios”) at the university treasury department- 50 cents

4.  Fill in the form according to the format for this program

          5. Present the documentation in the         student services department

How to present the documentation

• Documentation must be presented in a manila envelope  with student’s name and program he/she is applying to.

NOTE: All students who currently have a scholarship must fill in a renewal application form
