Ceremony for 287 new graduates

On June 22nd, there were two graduation ceremonies for 287 students who successfully ended their studies in business administration, accounting, natural resources biotechnology, communication, management of sustainable development, intercultural education, psychology and pedagogy.

Both ceremonies were presided by Jose Juncosa, vice president of UPS's branch in Quito, who spoke about the university's accreditation process. "Both you dear graduates and professors have worked hard to make changes and continuous improvements that made UPS be acknowledged as an accredited higher education institution."

Sebastian Granda, director of the Intercultural education undergraduate program, said that the university seeks to fulfil its vision, a university that continuously evaluates its performance and innovates permanently to meet current and future demands. 

Lucia Maldonado and Priscila Iturralde spoke on behalf of the graduates; "Let's be passionate about our work and put our heart and soul into all the activities we carry out and let's always try to accomplish our university's mission statement.
