Twenty two representatives from public and private institutions visited our university's branch campus in Guayaquil during the event titled "2019 Business Tour", an activity that seeks to create a closer relationship between companies and the university and create institutional agreements.

To start the event, attendees watched a video showing the progress the university has had during its 25 years of existence. University officials were also able to learn people's perceptions of the work students carry out at UPS. "People talk about our students not only academically, but also about their friendliness, responsibility, team work abilities and principles", said Wendy Luna.

Officials and professors took the representatives on a tour of the university's laboratories, classrooms and other academic spaces used by students.

Some of the institutions that took part of this fifth edition of the business tour were: Nestlé Ecuador, Empresa de Sistema en Gestión de Seguridad SGS, Industrias Unidas, Compañía de Bebidas de las Américas Tesalia-CBC-PEPSI, Productos alimenticios Alpina, Distribuidora de Maquinarias IIASA.

"it is very pleasing to take part in the business tour and learn about the university's academic offer and its infrastructure. UPS students currently are currently carrying out internships in our institution and we hope to have more students from this university", said Gisela Gonzalez, representative of Alpina.

The next event that will take place in the university is the "Job opportunities fair" on November 14th.
