Carneros, the UPS-Cuenca rugby team, classifies to semifinals

The UPS-Cuenca rugby team, Carneros, classified to the semifinals of the National Rugby Championship after defeating the Aguilas 113-5.

The Salesian team played a great game allowing them to easily defeat Aguilas and demonstrate the team's excellent performance during this season. Now Carneros must await their opponent to dispute a place in the finals.

The players celebrated their victory with great enthusiasm and said it comes due to all their hard work in the training sessions. They were very pleased that they are now within the four best rugby teams in the country.

The UPS-Cuenca rugby team coach, Douglas Rodríguez was happy his team classified to the semifinals and said it's all because of the players' hard work, commitment and discipline and that they are the true protagonists. The team now hopes to make it to the finals which would be a historical event for the Carneros.
