UPS professor presented his paper in an International Congress

Universidad  Politecnica Salesiana professor Flavio Quizphi presented his research titled "Genetic Algorithm for Enhancing the Transmission Capacity of a PES (Power Electric System) through Flexible AC Compensators" in the 9^th IEEE Conference on Industrial Electronics and Applications (ICIEA 2014) in Hangzhou, China.

The paper written by researchers: Fabián Arévalo, Martin Córdova, Flavio Quizhpi, and Magno Vivarwill be indexed to Scopus through IEEE (978-1-4799-4315-9/14).

Flavio Quizphi said many of the best universities in the world take part in this conference and that UPS's participation was a great success.

Finally, he thanked the university's authorities for all their support in making their participation in this international scientific event possible.
