UPS Professor presented her paper in an International Congress

Paola Ingavelez, a professor at Universidad Politécnica Salesiana-Cuenca, presented her paper on Higher Education Inclusion and Accessibility at the Inclusive Community International Congress- FIDA 2014- SICA which was held at Universidad Católica in Uruguay. Representatives from Chile, Argentina, Uruguay and Ecuador plus a representative from the OEI (Organization of Ibero-American States) attended the congress.

The Ibero- American Forum on Diversity in Action – FIDA and the International Symposium SICA "Computer and Inclusion" got together to present the latest advances in diversity. During this academic event there were a great number of analyses and debates over solutions, initiatives and actions aimed at the development of people with risk of educational, social and economic exclusion.

Several Latin American and European Universities were given the opportunity to present several conferences. UPS professor Paola Ingavelez was pleased for having participated in this congress; her paper was very well accepted by attendees who also showed their interest in the work that Universidad Politécnica Salesiana currently carries out in its research centers.
