UPS professor presented his paper at AUPEC 2014

UPS - Cuenca Electrical Engineering professor Flavio Quizhpi, in cooperation with Julio Viola, Prometeo and Jose Restrepo from Universidad Simon Bolivar in Venezuela, presented his paper titled "Simplified FPGA implementation of the generalized space vector pulse width modulation (GSVPWM) for three wire three-phase inverters" at the Australasian Universities Power Engineering Conference (AUPEC 2014).

The article is the result of the research Project titled: "Algoritmo de ajuste aplicados a los sistemas de filtros activos" or Fitting algorithm applied to active filter systems, which is conducted by the Energy research group (GIE, in Spanish) at UPS- Cuenca, within the framework of the Engineering Research, Development and Innovation Center (CIDII)

The conference Smart Power for Everyone held at Curtin University in Perth Australia is organized by several universities and institutions in the field of research, academics and business, such as the Australasian Committee for Power Engineering (ACPE), the Australian Power Institute (API), Curtin University, Cowan University, Murdoch University, University of Western Australia and IEEE Australia.

The aim of the event is to establish spaces for contemporary and original research and share innovative solutions for the industry as well as promoting education in the field of electrical engineering in Australia.
