The Workers Association elected president

Flavio Quizhpi was reelected president of the Workers Association (ADETUPS) at UPS-Cuenca after the electoral process that was held in the University last week.

Three candidates presented their work plans for the 2014-2016 period, but finally after having examined them, workers at UPS decided Flavio Quizhpi's party "EQUIDAD" was the best option.

EQUIDAD is set up as follows: President: Flavio Quizhpi, Vicepresident: Freddy Campoverde, Treasurer: María Tocachi, Secretary: Raúl Luna. Board members: Luz Marina Castillo, Myriam Mancheno, Andrea Huiracocha, Luz Matute, Carlos Lucero, Hernán Alvarado.

Flavio Quizhpi said that having been reelected shows UPS workers support his performance in the last two years. He now takes on new challenges and is committed to continue working in benefit of the members of the association. He thanked everyone for their support and said he would do his best to accomplish his work plan.
