UPS students took part in the BIOROB2014 international conference

Luis Calle Arévalo and Patricio Guaraca, Electronic engineering students at UPS, along with their professor Fernando Urgiles took part in the BIOROB2014 congress and the IEEE International Conference on Biomedical Robotics and Biomechatronics held in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

During the congress they presented two papers titled: “Analysis of Knee Torque to implement in an Exoskeleton” and “Analysis of Torque and Power Supported by the hip during a change of sitting position to standing and walking cycle”.

Both students were pleased to have attended the international congress and have successfully presented their papers to students from the world’s top universities. During their stay they were also able to learn about new research advancements.
