School vacation camp at UPS

The workers’ association at Universidad Politécnica Salesiana is currently holding the first School Vacation Camp for the staff’s children. There are about 120 boys and girls aged 6 to 12 attending the camp.

There is a variety of activities during the day including sports like soccer and basketball, arts and crafts, games, field trips, movies, and more. The camp is taking place in the University’s facilities such as the soccer field and the coliseum.

UPS teachers and students with vast experience working with children and school camps are in charge of this camp’s activities.

Flavio Quizhpi, the association’s president, said the aim of the vacation camp is that the university staff has a place where their children will have fun doing all sorts of activities while they’re on vacation.
