"Dialogue of Knowledge in Higher Education" is a study that recovers concepts, ideas and topics about Andean cosmovision through the use of pedagogical resources. With this methodology, UPS researcher Freddy Simbaña covered topics such as: ritual, mythology, magic, religion, agro calendar and notes on indigenous thoughts and ways to reconstruct communities in order to strengthen their social structure.

Freddy Simbaña, a professor in the interculturality education undergraduate program and a member of the interculturality education research group, presented the results of his research during the "First meeting on community experiences of inclusion in communities", organized by the municipality's secretariat of inclusion.

Professor Simbaña said the meeting allowed him to display the work carried out by the intercultural education undergraduate program, its influence at the local and regional level, community involvement, continuing education programs and the work carried out in the university residence. The meeting was also necessary in order to suggest a strategy to promote the rights of communities in Quito.
