The university held yet another graduation ceremony in Guayaquil for 160 students who successfully ended their studies in business administration, accounting, communication, electronics, electricity, computer and industrial engineering, as well as two master's degree programs.

Andres Bayolo, vice president of UPS's branch campus in Guayaquil said: "I congratulate the new professionals for their perseverance during their studies and I trust that with your academic and personal education which characterizes salesians, you can actively contribute to society."

During the first ceremony Maria Alexandra Medina Romero, was awarded a recognition for having the best grade point average in Business Administration. She spoke on behalf of all students: "Today we have achieved the dream for which we have fought, I thank the teachers because they contributed, each in their own way, to the professionals we are today."

During the second ceremony, the awards for best averages of undergraduate and postgraduate degrees were for Limber Herrera of Industrial Engineering, and Fátima Mejía of the Master's program in Business Administration. "We are very happy to get a new degree, but remember that this does not make us better, since it is the values instilled at home and in our university that make us richer," said Mejía
