UPS swimming team, runners up in the II Inter-university Swimming Competition

From the 17th to the 19th of July Universidad Nacional de Chimborazo (UNACH) hosted the II Ecuadorian Inter-university Swimming Competition organized by Club Elit from the city of Riobamba and supported by the Ecuadorian Swimming Federation (FENA, in Spanish).

There were nine Universities that took part in the competition. Universidad Politécnica Salesiana – Guayaquil came in second leaving universities like ESPOCH and Escuela Superior de la Policía behind.

15 swimmers are part of the university team which is coached by Zoila Guerrera; after this competition the team hopes to continuously improve their level.
