In order to continue improving its quality, the university has started a new process to analyze its environment and identify factors which are having affecting the university's objectives, mission and vision statements. 

Now that we are about to end 2020, which brought crisis and new lessons, it is the institution's responsibility to undergo strategic planning to establish the university's path. 

Starting on December 1st, student representatives, professors and administrative staff will be able to take part in 4 online forums that will help identify the factors that have an impact on our activities; this will enable us to design strategies that guarantee we reach our mission and vision statements.

The question in the first forum is: Where are we? which seeks to determine where UPS currently is, what are the characteristics that the university should have for today's young people, and what should be the profile and characteristics that our teachers must have.

Action is always preceded by reflection. Therefore, everyone is invited to take a break from their activities and analyze various aspects, whether political, economic, social, technological, environmental or legal (external), or the academic offer, teaching, research, community engagement, financial area, human resource management, or direction and organization (internal).
