On Abril 8, UPS- Guayaquil held yet another graduation ceremony for 68 new professionals from several majors. The event was presided by UPS-Guayaquil vice president Andres Bayolo and other university officials.

Andres Bayolo congratulated the new graduates, their families and their teachers. "This is not goodbye, the university will always be your home", said Andres Bayolo.

Catherine Olmedo Guerrero had the best grade point average and was chosen to speak on behalf of all students. "Thank you all who made this day possible, remember that society needs people who are not afraid to dream and people who take risks" she said.
