The university held a ceremony for 119 new artisan professionals in Beauty, Automotive Mechanics, Chef and Construction Electricity who graduated from the university’s Artisan Training Center (PACES). The ceremony was presided by university officials, the Salesian Community of Yanuncay and PACES Artisan Training Center. 
 

The best graduates were awarded recognition certificates: Mayra Peña, Jhonnathan Zumba, Erika Rivas, Carlos Loja, Lourdes Gutiérrez, Jonathan González; and recognitions to leadership skills: Ibelia Durán, José Sánchez, Adriana Loja, Carlos Loja, Diego Chacha and Mayra Tenesaca. 

 

Juan Flores, Director of the Salesian Community of Yanuncay, congratulated the new professionals by stressing their great perseverance to successfully complete their education. He also applauded the work of teachers at PACES, who have been guides in students’ training.
 

Janeth Abad, president of the Board of Defense of Artisans in Azuay, stated that it is pleasing to see new professionals in different branches, she wished them the best of luck in the professional field.
 

Juan Cárdenas, UPS president, stressed the work carried out by the new professionals, who have had enough strength to, despite difficulties, finish their education to become the new professional craftsmen.
